| Najib Soudani by @SL photographie February 6th - we celebrated Carnaval on " La tète dans les etoiles - Café Concert" The idea came from Nathalie Petron, writer, etnologue and manager of " La tète dans les etoiles - Café Concert" ... Why not drumming here in Essaouira? So we came, The Gnawa Maalem Najib Soudani and his group the sufi singer Abdehak Voix du Vent the senegalese Troupe Fall... and me! We made a fusion between Gnawa traditional songs, brazilian elements from samba, samba-reggae and afoxe and the amazing sounds from Senegal... drums, songs, dance, food... .... direct from the streets! from the sacred to the popular.... smiles, tears, emotions, dreams... colours together.... |
